About us
The Ninety Sixers Motorcycle Association was established in late 2010 and transitioned into a Motorcycle Club in 2019. Our primary objective was to counter the negative perception associated with the biker image by actively engaging in acts of generosity. We, the members, share a common upbringing within our community and felt compelled to give back. During the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic, we took it upon ourselves to assist those in need. In December, we embarked on a mission to provide meals to families facing hardship.
Initially, we set a modest goal of delivering five family meals during the first week. To rally support, we utilized our Facebook page, and to our astonishment, within two days, the community and local businesses fervently backed our endeavor. Surpassing our initial target, we distributed 120 meals that week. Recognizing the apprehension people felt about leaving their homes during the pandemic, we personally delivered the meals to their doorsteps. Ultimately, our efforts resulted in providing over 350 meals to families in our community during our inaugural December Family Meals initiative.
Reflecting on our achievements, the club collectively decided to continue these charitable endeavors on an annual basis. However, we sought to expand our impact and assist even more individuals. As a small group of motorcycle enthusiasts, families in need reached out to us throughout the following year, and time and again, we rose to the occasion. Yet, we remained unsatisfied, yearning to do more. As a result, our second Annual December Family Meals campaign achieved remarkable success, providing over 400 meals to families in the community.
It was at this point that we made the decision to progress further and establish ourselves as a Non-Profit organization. By garnering support from various organizations, businesses, and government entities, we aimed to realize our mission of "Helping to Feed Our Community, One Ride at a Time." With this objective in mind, we officially obtained Non-Profit 501(c)(3) status. Recognizing that food is a fundamental need, we are committed to ensuring that no member of our community goes hungry. If you hear the roar of our engines, rest assured that a meal awaits you in times of need.
Joseph C Vallez Award
Our Non-Profit was honored at the beginning of May 2023 with the North Berwyn Park District’s Joseph C Vallez award.
The purpose of this award was for it to be bestowed upon community members who emulate outstanding service, exceptional leadership, visionary guidance, and dedication in improving the quality of life in the City of Berwyn.
